About me

Hello there! My name is Nidhi Nadgir, and I am currently a senior in high school who is passionate about making STEM more accessible and engaging through story-based learning methods.

My journey in STEM faced many initial challenges, primarily from the conventional memorization-based teaching methods and the intimidation of being a girl in STEM. I wanted to create a space that allows students to explore complex STEM concepts in a way that feels more tangible and relatable, rooted in real-life applications and stories. Blending my love for creative writing and various STEM fields like physics and math, Story-STEM was born!

This site offers interactive stories, activity sheets, presentations, and experiments to turn STEM into an exciting exploration. If you are in the Bay Area, I also often hold sessions at local libraries and schools, so keep a look out for upcoming workshops to be announced on the site!
